I want to display different special-requirements a patient might have in a hospital environment. One of them being ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation). I'm not a medical expert but found this explanation.
But I'm finding it a bit too general, showing a large, complex machine. The diamond shaped piece seems to be a recognisable and common design of these machines, though. Maybe this could be more prominently featured.

Featuring lungs in a device. This seems to be a good option.
Or maybe it would be better to show what the device does: oxygenate the blood outside the body. Maybe a blood drop with bubbles?
Thanks a lot in advance. :)
