Hey guys I started tinkering with the ReSpeaker 4-Mic Array and first wanted to try the step by step tutorial. https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/ReSpeaker_4_Mic_Array_for_Raspberry_Pi/ Tho I am kinda confused by the chapter Extract Voice step 5 and 6, what am I supposed to do with the code? In other steps in the tutorial they go into detail when creating a file or stuff like that is required so I am not sure what to do with it, if even needed? Any help would be much appreciated.

just created the record file and copyed the code there... tutorial should maybe note that.
