ERROR:ERR_EVENT_STACK_FULL might cause incorrect reports #52

An increase in the duration of the run (say 40 years as opposed to 20) might cause a ERROR:ERR_EVENT_STACK_FULL error, since the stack size is not a function of duration of the run. The error, however, is suppressed and not shown when running certain functions, including export_figures(), which subsequently results in weird outcomes including a decline in population. The error should stop the run to prevent this.
