Hi, I'm still solving problems with gettext_i18n_extractor, which bundles your lib (although it is now official upstream). Although grosser is claiming, that yout gettext_extractor is licensed under MIT (https://github.com/grosser/gettext_i18n_rails/issues/37#issuecomment-2516491), I am not sure - your license file is MIT, but in the source file itself, you claim that the it is licensed under the same terms as ruby. Can you clarify this?

Thank you very much, Bohuslav Kabrda.

ruby is released under MIT

bkabrda commented 13 years ago

Not really: http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/LICENSE.txt http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/COPYING.txt

-- these two clearly say, that Ruby is licensed under GPL 2 or the conditions in LICENSE.txt.

grosser commented 13 years ago

retoo, please state its release under MIT so we can get over with this :)

Hi, Retoo, any progress on this one?

Thank you, Bohuslav.

Hi Bohuslav

Sorry for not getting back earlier, I somehow missed the notifications. I have removed the license statement in the ruby_gettext_extractor.rb file, as the intended license is already specified in the LICENSE file. I hope this settles this matter!

Grosser: can you 'merge' this change by applying this change to your repo as well?

ruby_gettext_extractor.rb

Cheers Reto

Thank you so much! I almost thought you wouldn't react at all :)
