Great project! I made my own and got it to work with the 1040s and 520s I have. I also noticed there is a MegaSTE pcb board that uses the internal ACSI header on the Mega. Even though it says MegaSTE, I am assuming it also works with the Mega ST (not the STE)?

Ah, ok, nvm. I see now that the MegaSTE uses a 30 pin internal connector where the Mega ST only has a 24 pin connector. And the pinouts are different. Perhaps I will look at spinning a separate board for the MegaST... :(
