RG300 updated to RetroFW2.3 but now has issues #74

I recently purchased an RG300 ips from Amazon, the device came with a dev build of RetroFW and I decided to update to the latest version on a new SD card. Device booted up fine, but I noticed immediately that the only options I have are explorer, unmount, setting and skin, in short the bare bones. The other SD card still contains all the games and emulators, and I can view the files, but not run any of them.

When I search the SD card I can search through the games sorted by system as before, but the emulator screen and everything else is gone, and when I select the games or emulators with the A button I get booted back to the explorer screen. How do I add the emulators and select the games so that they will play?

Hi, You need to (re)install the emulators manually. You can do that from OPK or IPK files that you can find here: https://github.com/retrofw/retrofw.github.io/wiki/Emulators-and-Apps I use pocketsnes to play snes games for example, and reGBA for GBA.
