Analogic up don't work in games and GBA emulator poor performance #4

I recently purchased the PocketGo S30 and upgraded to Simple30, but after updating the analog upwards it doesn't work in games, but it works normally in the main menu, and also games like Metroid Zero Misson and Wario Land 4 present a lower performance than the GBA emulator that came installed on the device, having several moments of choking, this is easy to see at the beginning of the Metroid Zero Mission when going left to pick up the Morph Ball. Because of that I went back to the firmware that came on the device, any way to solve this? Or update forecast?

Same issue here, left+ up and right + up not working on simple30, but working on original firmware. Looks like a bug.

Hi @elvis-doug-jan in regards to your GBA performance issues, I suspect that the Rewind function is turned on. I may have left it on by accident when building the image. Go into RetroArch from the main menu (without launching a game), and go to Settings > Frame Throttle > Rewind and turn it off. Then save the configuration file and you should see better performance.

As far as analog issues, I've heard this is an issue for some devices with Simple30, but I haven't been able to recreate it. Is there a particular system where it doesn't work, or all of them? Can you confirm if the analog stick has that same performance issues with the standalone PSP emulator? That will help me narrow it down to see if it's a RetroArch issue.

Hello @retrogamecorps!

I made the configuration to turn Frame Throttle off and solved the GBA performance issue! 😀

As for the analog, I tested it on the PPSSPP and the analog up is also not recognized, not even in the emulator control mapping. I went to the system settings and the analog calibration option has the point shifted down and even calibrating, it is not saved, while in the original firmware the calibration is saved and all emulators work normally the analog.
