Smartwatch App

Value: People having a Smartwatch could manually lock and unlock the scooter without the need to pull out a Smartphone.

Great idea, definitely want to make this happen! Apple Watch development would probably need to be done by someone else (can you think of anyone?), as I don't have a test device and can't see myself getting one. Wear OS sounds like a fun project though!

I can look into technical limitations and whip up some designs for round and rectangle screens soon, then someone else could already get started on watchOS

Looking into basic designs sounds great!

I'm currently trying to create a proof of concept for Wear OS just having one button.

After that I would check the communication to the scooter:

• Option 1: direct BLE connection to scooter to send command and receive state (preferred)
• Option 2: send commands via phone

Disclaimer: I never developed a wear OS app. I'm trying to integrate it into the unustasis app. Let's see how well that works. It definitely would have the benefit that domain logic could be shared.

Some very early (or late, rather, looking at the clock) doodles for the layout. It'll probably be easier to go with Option 1, though we might want to sync some settings (like Scooter name and ID) from the app.
