Hi!

It would be nice if columns UI had some way of showing me some information about added/available panels. Maybe a button in the item details section? For example where the panels originate from. Right now I have this "Filter Search" toolbar panel that I can't figure out what plugin adds, or where to configure it.

Okay, so I finally figured out that it's a built in columnsUI thing. :) Though this feature would still come in handy for those who have lots of plugins.

Yes, it would be nice, but probably not a priority.

You might find http://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_whatsnew of some use (though it doesn't attribute new features to components).
