Polyglossia support for Odia (Oriya)

jspitz commented 8 months ago

Tanks for the proposal, also!

avisekjena commented 8 months ago

Is there anything else I need to do? Or will it get automatically merged in the next release?

jspitz commented 8 months ago

Sorry, I had some minor comments which I forgot to pusblish. If you can address those and maybe also add a section to the manual, I will merge your request.

Thank you so much. I added documentation at b4adbf193dafbe. Odia will be part of polyglossia 1.66.

That's wonderful news! Thank you for your time.

One last request, would you be able to correct the mentions to "Avisek Jena".

Sure. Sorry, I should have asked in the first place how to properly transliterate your name.

While we are at it, there is also a colleague mentioned in the ldf, but without a spelled-out name. I's like to credit this person as well (if they doesn't disagree). What's the name?

avisekjena commented 8 months ago

Thanks. :) The other contributor is my uncle, Ashok Das.

Thanks. And just to get sure, the second part of the name is the last name (so I sort you under D and J, not A)?

avisekjena commented 8 months ago

Yes, you can sort us under D and J. Thanks!
