This happened to me too. It seems he corrected the problem of the tabs not
appearing in chrome - I can now get them to appear in chrome from my phone
instantly.
However there's a new issue in that they KEEP reopening themselves every few
hours even though I've already received them in chrome!
Relevant info:
- I may or may not have closed chrome during those 3 or 4 hour gaps between
times that they reopen
- chrome was open for quite a while when they suddenly reopened.
- This has happened 3 or 4 times (and counting).
- I added them to the cloud when my android was on 2.0 (android has since been
updated to 2.0.1)
Is there any way of stopping it short of disabling the chrome extension? I'm
running the latest version (2.0.1) on both chrome and android.

Same here. Each time I open my browser, all the previous links that I shared
keep opening. Happens everytime Chrome is closed and then reopened. However,
at least the application works again. After reinstalling, what I had to do was
go into My Account and erase all instances of android2cloud and then reinstall.
Then everything started working, but now the mutliple tabs issue has started.

Same here. After left overnight there were 4 duplicate set of tabs opened by
the extension (which were previously opened from Android).

Two times today, chrome has opened the following tabs for me:
* chrome-extension://hkelgkihphkegiaagbcgglfidabmgkgp/ (Gives a not found
error, but has the android2cloud favicon)
* http://code.google.com/p/android2cloud/wiki/Welcome
* [Last page sent from phone]

Sorry about this, everyone. I'm looking into it as quickly as I Can. I'll issue
a fix tonight, hopefully.

Thanks Paddy. You're the best.
Just to be clear, this doesn't only happen on a Chrome restart. It can happen
when Chrome is left open. Cheers!

It should only happen when Chrome is left open when the token needs to be
refreshed (e.g., after a few hours.)

This should be fixed as of version 2.0.2. If it's not, let me know, and I'll
reopen the ticket.

I see this problem too. It's kind of frustrating that every few hours a whole
bunch of tabs (few 10s) get opened automatically. I use android2cloud heavily.
Chrome Version: 9.0.597.98
android2cloud: 2.0.3
OS: Ubuntu 10.10

Sorry about this! Working on figuring it out and getting a fix pushed out on
Sunday. See http://links.android2cloud.org/notmarkedread and
http://goo.gl/dBBRZ for more information on clearing old links and helping to
find the cause of the problem.

This keeps happening to me, but only the first eight or so tabs I opened when
this first started happening are constantly re-opening. It also doesn't just
affect me when I restart my browser/computer (although the first thing that
happened after my computer restarted was the opening of these eight tabs) but
at random intervals whenever the computer is on.

Just an update: This should be fixed in the public beta for 2.0.4. You can find
more information here: http://goo.gl/UvihB

Not to be snarky, but if you look at my comment *right above yours*, you'll
notice that this is in public beta. You can download a fix before the official
release on Sunday, if you're impatient. You can find information on that on the
blog: http://blog.android2cloud.org/2011/02/204-sort-of.html

I'm not certain this issue is fixed with 2.0.4. The first thing that happened
after I installed it (and disabled 2.0.3) was the same group of links that had
been plaguing me lately opening (second batch, first batch was fixed when I
emailed list to you). If it happens when 2.0.3 is uninstalled, I'll let you
know.

The fix *does* open the links one last time (it has to, before it can mark them
as read), but that should be the absolute last time you see them.
Also, you should never have two versions of the software running at the same
time. That will lead to all sorts of instability I can't even begin to predict.
Sorry I wasn't clearer on this. When I issue the public update, I'll underscore
both those points again.
