Allow editing of supplementary files #25

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

currently supplementary files, such as
*.odt - libre office
*.mm - fee mind

are opened via url "http://"

hence they are opened by firefox & native editor as read only;

I suggest to give an option to open them with url "file://"
so that native format editors (libre office, free mind)
can edit them

my current workaround: look and edit files inside
i-librarian file store :-)

This will only work locally, and it looks like a security nightmare. You have
to save the file to your HDD. Work on it, and then save it to I, Librarian
again.

or, forget about "file://"

how about just a bit more of ajax,

that will make local copy, allow for edit, then auto-save
back to IL on same entry?

same as you said, but excluding manual steps
