I suggest adding a feature to save/limit mobile data usage. When working on mobile data and after turning off the smartphone screen (background playback):
the application disables the download of the video track and downloads/plays only the audio track with the preselected quality. When the screen is on, it goes back to download also video track with the set settings.
or
the application switches the video quality (both audio and video tracks) to a set one, e.g. from Automatic to 480p. When the screen is on, it switches back to the default video quality.
