As a user I would want someway of knowing if a app I am using has been enhanced to be smart.

Currently if a update is made to make a app smart, that code will be ran none stop even though the user has not inputted any api keys etc. And without looking at logs or release notes will never know the app is failing and could be getting stats etc.

initial thoughts here would be to allow an app to return a special "no configured" result from the status update. then it would be up to the apps to say if it was configured or not. then that special state could be shown as an icon on the dashboard.
