Cocaine 0.12 #707

We need elliptics cocaine plugin for cocaine v0.12(3Hren edition https://github.com/3Hren/cocaine-plugins). Do you have any plans for adding it?

bioothod commented 8 years ago

@shaitan @3Hren please highlight your plans about 0.12 cocaine inclusion into elliptics?

0.11 has quite many issues and bugs which are not fixed since 0.11 is unsupported now.

3Hren commented 8 years ago

@minaevmike currently we're building with the thin wrapper over elliptics frozen commit, which may be rebased over real upstream at any time without collisions (hope so).

@bioothod, this isn't official fork, so it's quite dangerous politic solution to make a bridge between it and elliptics. Since I've recently gotten access rights to cocaine-core upstream, it is possible process, but not so fast. Firstly we need to merge ourselves.

On the other side I've heard that @shaitan's going to push some PR's related to the issue, he can tell more.

@bioothod @3Hren @shaitan do you have some ideas about this problem?

3Hren commented 8 years ago

No anwser from collaborators since my comment. Have no idea.

bioothod commented 8 years ago

I actually failed to parse the message whether 0.12 will or will not be supported in elliptics and will it replace 0.11. If it will, what is the time estimation?

shaitan commented 8 years ago

HI there, we plan to move libcocaine-plugin-elliptics from elliptics to other cocaine plugins, so it will be available for all supported cocaine's versions. It will be done in this or next week.

shaitan commented 8 years ago

When libcocaine-plugin-elliptics will be moved to cocaine plugins, its version will be changed according to current version of cocaine plugins (0.12.9.0). So it will be downgraded from 2.26.11.0 to 0.12.9.0. Will it be a problem for you?

If it will, we have two options:
