How to filter by prop + value #405

Hi, i'm having problems with using the built in filter, and i can't seem to get a grasp of it with the documentation. I have a given column name, and a given value, i need to be able to filter on demand with a function, is there any working example? Thanks

Started to navigate projects that use this library, found one which used filters and understood what to do. The documentation is very poor...
