There appears to be two different types of script on this language, I don't know which one is meant to be preferred and I can only assume someone else picked it up and used the other.

Not sure how to resolve this, would appreciate advice.

Check which country or region use that language most together the origin and add that flag. Otherhand, that's the best way to protect a language and it's quality

I grabbed all the relevant flags from Wikipedia to get high resolution SVGs.

@CaffeJappa it appears dayjs does not have Venetian translations, which means I have to specify a different language for it to load currently, I'm setting it to English for now but if you or someone else could get Venetian upstream into dayjs then I'll be able to get date / time translations working in-app.

Also a general update: we are now appointing maintainers for individual languages, see here and here for more info.
