How to get a pagination within categories? I set a custom meta tag 'category'.

It depends on how you're using the categories. Are you using a plugin or have you written custom code to get filtered listings by categories? Since this behavior isn't built into Pico, the pagination plugin doesn't have an automatic way to paginate categories...
