I also try to do ultracentrifuge for my sample, so I'll have 3 samples : 1) AuNP+Citrate without ultracentrifuge 2) AuNP+Citrate with 1x ultracentrifuge 3) AuNP+Citrate with 2x ultracentrifuge
WhatI'll do next is try to do UV-Vis spectroscopy to all samples, and try to make a monolayer solid AuNP from each samples.
1st Picture : AuNP using Citrate as capping (success) 2nd Picture : AuNP using MPA as capping (failed) 3rd Picture : AuNP using MPA as capping (failed)
For the 1st picture : using 75 mg Citrate + 10 mL water For the 2nd picture : using 75 mg citrate + (8.7 uL MPA + 10 mL water) For the 3rd picture : using 150 mg citrate + (8.7 uL MPA + 10 mL water)
1st and 2nd picture using 1,5 mL HAuCl_4 + 43,5 mL water, while 3rd picture using 3 mL HAuCl_4 + 87 mL water.
We add some heat to the solution of HAuCl_4 + water first until 80 \deg C and after that we add the capping (citrate or citrate + MPA) to the solution. All of this process takes 60 minutes,
