Spastic solids #49

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. "Play" the attached file
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Parts continue to
convulse around on the ground until they break apart.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? SP3 on
vista 64-bit

Please provide any additional information below.

I have split each chain link into several sub-solids, then grouped them as I
saw in several online tutorials. However, the behaviour of this model is
weird...

This is a problem for me, too: especially in small solids connected to a larger
solid (eg. a box used as the camera follow connected to a vehicle for a
third-person camera). When the vehicle gets bumped or runs into something, the
acceleration is amplified in the smaller solid, which then begins to, and
doesn't stop, rotate extremely fast on some axis.
