Cannot edit "Controller" field of a hinge

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a hinge
2. Open SP Inspector
3. Try to edit the "Controller" field

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect this to allow me to controll the Hinge but instead I get an error.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SetupSketchyPhysics3.1_(WIN)_Oct7
Google Skethup 7.1
Windows 7 Ultimate

I get the controller blue field and type a name in but the name does not stick. 
Why is the controller a blue fied?
