Upgrading OpCenter data volumes to GP3 #67

As of 4/4, please update the data volumes from gp2 -> gp3 on the west coast opcenter (54.176.176.205)

More information can be found here: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/ebs/latest/userguide/requesting-ebs-volume-modifications.html make sure you are in the right region on EC2

  1. go to Volumes on the left hand side

  2. You should see three volumes. Make sure those three are connected to the correct opcenter image

  3. Select one, then from the Actions dropdown on the top right -> Modify Volumes

  4. Change volume type to gp3 then confirm image

Based on the information provided by AWS, modification can take from a few minutes to a few hours, but I think just changing the type should not take long
