use dustin's catalog

GAIA catalog

can mask stars on top of galaxy whereas this is difficult with SE only
need to apply a proper motion cut

ISSUES

can we have the entire northern catalog on disk
what mag limit to use (m < 21?)
what proper motion limit to use (snr(mu) > 5)

GAIA ACCOUNT

need to setup an account

use size-magnitude relation from legacy dr9

run with no deblending and with deblending, to see if there is a difference.

going to close this for now - we have it implemented using the legacy dr9 catalog. may want to update to gaia catalog at some point if we want to mask fainter stars.

Greg has made catalog of gaia stars with 16 < m < 18, and we are going to add these to the masks. Waiting for Greg to move data files to dropbox, and then I will have to download them and update the function add_gaia_stars to maskwrapper.py

I am now just querying the gaia database directory.
