5 years ago Just in case this is still an issue for you: I was facing the same problem, which was caused by one or more songs have overlapping syllables. Try a subset of songs to identify the particular songs causing the problem and re-assign syllables.
Hi, first of all thank you for sharing Lucinia for free. I created a database of frog calls. I measured all the recording added to individuals (I selected elements both manually and automatically). First issue is that when I tried to "calculate automatically syllabes" after pressing start button the software does not go further "preparing elements" action. Anyway, since syllabes are calculated and automatically assigned as the number of elements when I save the songs to the database, I decided to proceed to analyses. I followed all your step-by-step tutorial but when I am at the final step (run the statistics) I obtain just blank windows under the menus "statistics", "song mds", "individual mds" and no menus for dendrogram and other requested statistics show up. I'm running Lucinia under Windows 10 OS. Can you help me in some way? Thank you in advance for you attention. Your efforts are really appreciated. Leonardo.
