Hi Liam! The FTP server from DataSUS is not accessible from connections outside Brazil. Is this your situation? I am working on a solution for this.

Hi @edgarodriguez and @liamxg Last week I created a mirror of the DataSUS FTP in a S3 file structure. The details are here: https://rfsaldanha.github.io/data-projects/s3-datasus-ftp-mirror.html

I am working on a package branch to use this mirror as an alternative.
