elite crash after launching with Minimal #43

not sure if this is a prtoton issue/update that broke it but i get the following when trying to log run ED with minimal launcher

This might be an issue with the Proton update. I created a new prefix and the game instantly crashes for me when using Proton 6.3. I also can't get the default launcher to run with 6.3. Telling the game to use 6.21-GE works fine with both the min-launcher and the default launcher on my end.

It's possible it doesn't run properly because there has been a change to one of Steam's processes (e.g. reaper, pressure-vessel), but it seems like it's an issue with elite and this version of proton.

Are you able to run the default launcher and/or horizons with Proton 6.3? Does a different version of proton work for you?

when i remove the minimal launcher command and try to run it with only steam (6.21-GE) it starts to load then says running then closes before the main launcher. when i use my usual command for minimal launcher i get the same error as in the prior logs posted. 6.3.8 is what i originally had proton at when i reported the issue.
