Dos games not working... #53

What happened?

hello thanks for good work, noticed that dos games not working (in garlic works) also games preinstaled in ports folder not working

It should work but see the comments below because something else may be off with your installation.

Pre installed games like Old Towers should work without issues. If it does not it's an indication that something else is wrong with the installation. Most likely cause is that you may have a previous installation or an old batocera system folder. If that's the case, move or remove the system folder from your second card (assuming you are using two cards) and start the system again. The next time it boots it will re-create the system folder and things should work.

Another test you can do is to test Old Towers with just the koriki sdcard and no second card in the console.

ok thanks so something wrong is with my instalation Old Towers game is missing with only one koriki sd card... with both sdcards i have all games twice in ports section.... will try to reinstall thx :)

hello, Old Towers is a megadrive pre installed game (works), not a DOS game, nor a PORT which I understand are the concerns raised. with a single SD card only C64 appears in the home computers category but with no game. no DOS category. and DOS games from a 2nd SD card don't work for me too (zip files, some including a dosbox.bat). and only SDLPoP works for me in PORTS with a single SD card (not DukeNuke3D=black screen, not devilutionX=return to menu, not cannonbal=return to menu)
