I read in the update logs that it already includes the suspend/resume by short pressing the power button. But I can't seem to make it work. I have to manually quit the game and use suspend system in the main menu. Please help anyone

Suspend/resume work with a single tap of the power button, regardless of whether you are in ES or in a game. If it does not work, make sure you didn't have a previous system folder from a previous installation. If that's the case, remove/move the system folder and restart.
