The requirements are:

32 bytes cyphertext - the plaintext is the Color_Def structure as in the process section
12 bytes symmetric key - the tagging value

The XXTEA algorithm is interesting for our use case because of the low overhead. I did not find vulnerabilities, except if keys are used twice or more, which is not an issue since keys are random.

Months ago I asked help on /r/crypto about this problem. The answers could help.

This issue refers to an old and obsolete version of RGB. See "old rgb" issue tag in our wiki.
