rails 4 support #7

I have it working on Rails 4.0.4 and ruby 1.9.3-p484 (going to give ruby-2.1 a go later ). I did run into a few caveats that were mostly resolved by http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21799383/rgeo-mysql-and-spatial-index-error . It wasn't explicitly listed anywhere that the adapter value in the database.yml file had to be set to 'mysql2spatial'. Then things started working as expected.
