First, it is best to have one issue for one issue only. Also, just for this plugin only. Otherwise things get screwed up. The programmers want it this way too. Second the versioning issue should be fixed now. I believe we have made all the necessary updates to the api so that the versions should work properly. This should be a separate Issue, to be tracked down.
@Corsair-63 Carmelo is this still and issue perhaps? I know that they are working on cleaning up the Plugin Manager code and there is a discussion about this relatively minor issue and how to handle it. It does not affect the operation of the plugin itself however.
also seen in another plugin, when installed, one beta either import, in the master catalogue it seems as installed the master one, instead the correct numbering of the installed plugin, that it comes to user error about the version installed. it just happened today with GPSodometer that imported version, when look at the PIM it says 0.8.0 [imported], when installed 0.8.1, when uninstalled it says now version 0.8.1 uninstalled. let say that could be a cosmetic bug or different point of view.
It should go away when the plugin uses API118 (Is my understanding) The problem is that API117 does not have version information eg x.x.5.5 transfered to OpenCPN PIM.
Windows 11 Pro ARM64 ver 22621.2428 OCPN 5.8.4-0 to avoid any interference from previous installation I uninstalled all new plugins and installed again.
