Is there a back view of an assembled x-2 hsrgb PCB or BOM for the rgb version?
Ah, I haven't generated an IBOM for the RGB version. Thanks for reminding me to do that. :)
The main difference in BOM with the RGB version is: the switches use Kailh MX hotswap sockets, and the per-key RGB (sk6812-e, and the 0805 100nF capacitor).
Just wondering as next to the per key led there seems to be a spot for a diode but I haven't found any info on it.
Beside the per-key RGB? Those are the 0805 100nF capacitors. They reduce the 'noise' in the power for the RGB LEDs.
I think the assembled PCB looks better if C1,C2,C3,C4 are through-hole capacitors. But, for the per-key RGB, the PCB only allows SMT.
The "find out yourself" way is using Kicad to open the project files. In the kicad_pcb file, you'll be able to select the Kicad 'module' at the spot you're curious about. That will have some kind of ID like "R1" or "SW_1_4" or whatever. Then you can find it on the schematic.
