No feedback at all for configuration errors when launching via GUI #45

If I have an incorrect configuration like a bad destination backup directory, when launching the UI it never starts and doesn't log any errors. This makes it impossible for anyone to know what's going wrong.

The GUI needs to provide feedback at all times in regards to errors. Maybe an error popup window?
