FreeType version 2.9 does not render glyphs #13

A boilerplate program renders an empty bitmap. 2.5.5 renders content. Walk up versions to find the break point.

@WinterMute provided a counterexample in #9. @rhaleblian 's CycloDS Evolution is probably just not working.
