Bug report - add on not allowing changes to bookmarks in provate folder #151

Private Bookmarks 0.1.19 Firefox 83.0 64-bit Windows 10 Pro Expected behavior: Should be able to delete bookmarks in private folder, add new bookmarks, clear data and reinstall a clean version of Private Bookmarks. Actual behavior - very similar to issue 146 reported by UtahOtoko on 16 August 1) cannot delete or add bookmarks to private folder - at re-launch the original set of bookmarks re-appear. 2) clear data button in Add on manager doesn't work 3) I uninstalled Private Bookmarks and later reinstalled it afresh. Original set of bookmarks from previous install came back

It is possible that this Add-on stopped working properly with a Firefox update

I had a similar issue, until I deactivated the option to "Sync bookmarks and preferences across devices". It does make the add-on less useful, but with it disabled, I could once again add, rename, delete private bookmarks and not have everything reset after a reboot. See if that works for you, too. :-)
