I typically merge an application / branch with the master, except last night upon completion of app2-8 I walked away from my computer and forgot!

It was my understanding that in order to create a pull request, it requires two separate branches. I can work solely from the master branch, although using a branch to work on an application or some other part of the course, has allowed me to become more familiar with the git workflow.

My apologies if this caused any confusion!!

Don't worry about it. I am learning the git workflow myself and this is the first I have been on a project with multiple people. So, do things the way you do them and I'll adjust (and learn in the process).
