The application can be viewed in the second commit within this pull request. The first commit to the branch is merely a walk through of the first few sections of the lesson.

I am also trying to figure out why the Rhistory is being committed when it is included with the gitignore file;

Maybe the gitignore file only entails the master branch? ...TO BE DETERMINED.
