I would like to Fork your mod to implement functionality for the new biotech mechanoids and would humbly request your permission to do so.

Hey there. How do you plan to release the forked version? Are you planning to release it as a separate workshop item, or as a pull request so that this functionality gets added to the existing Search and Destroy workshop item?

I would have uploaded it as a seperate workshop item with credits towards you but i could also do it as a pull request. It would be my first step into rimworld modding so i am unsure how far i will be able to actually follow through with my plan.

Okay. A pull request would be preferred, because I wanna prevent that the Workshop gets cluttered with unofficial versions that may or may not work/be up to date. Of course you'll be credited in the update notifications and on the mod page.

I suggest looking at Patches.xml for starters. There the Search and Destroy think nodes get added to the vanilla colonist AI think tree. You should be able to do something similar for mechs. With some luck it'll work after you do that, though there's also the chance you'll need to do more c# patching to solve any issues that could arise.
