Is WebMoney transfer an option?

I looked into this WebMoney thing. Looks like quite the favorite in Russia :)
I have signed up and need to add a purse. I must admit that I have sort of no
idea what to do now. Do I need a WMR purse to transfer to you? Can I use a
credit card to top up a purse? (Bank transfers are a HUGE fucking hassle in
Iceland since the financial collapse.)
If you want to accept donation, and since PayPal are such idiots not to send
money to Russian accounts, maybe you could write up a small how-to page?
Or if if you know flattr actually works, I can just use that. Seems like the
simplest option now :)

I'm almost new to webmoney too. Still looking for options...
AFAIK you need to create WME or WMZ purse and fill it. After that you may
transfer WME or WMZ to another user (ConEmu's) purse.
As for flattr. AFAIK you choose "month amount" which will be divided to all
creators flattred by you (flattred during current month? I'm not sure).

Here is the list of available ways to fill your purse:

Seems like "exchange points" is the simplest way. It's possible to exchange
PayPal too.

Nope. I get a list of Russian stuff, none of which is very helpful :-P I found
a couple of sites that do this for an exchange fee of 12-30% and they are all
in Russian and I don't know how reputable they are..
I found one that is supposed to be reputable and it looks like they only take
clients on referral basis: http://exwp.com/req/conditions_en.html. This is all
a bit how it used to be in Iceland in the 80s when you had to go to the bank
director himself to exchange money when you were travelling abroad..
I am a bit surprised that WebMoney doesn't just take bloody credit cards.
I'm giving up on WebMoney. Will use flattr. Hopefully that will work nicely.
According to their blog they will be adding one time donations again to their
line of services so that will make things easier in the future. Their service
fee is a bit steep or 10% but seems to be less than all the PayPal+WebMoney
options.

For those who are wondering about flattr.
You decide on monthly budget. If you only flattr one thing during the month,
that one thing gets all the budget (minus 10% service fee) on the 10th of next
month. For each flattr, the budget is divided between those things. So to use
your months budget for one time donation you have to be careful not to flattr
anything else during this month.. You can not flattr one thing multiple times
to give unequal amounts to different things. You could support one creator
more, by flattring lots different things he has created.
So the philosophy here is not for 'targeted' donation but microdonation for
lots of small things you like, like blogposts and youtube videos. Everyone gets
equal division of your funds, you cannot assign a preference. (this might
change soon, so that you can also use funds for larger one time donations)
If you want to support some endeavor better you can 'subscribe' and he will
automatically get flattr from you each month.
If you flattr nothing in a whole month, no money will be taken from your
budget, because there is no-one to divide it between.
If you don't have funds for monthly budget, you will not be charged
automatically from CC. You will just not be able to flattr for that month until
you top-up to have sufficient funds.
I could top up easily with credit card from Iceland, so I think they will
accept CC from lot of countries.
So basically. Not a good model for one time donation at this point (may change
in the future), but much easier for me to use than WebMoney. Now let's just
hope it is as easy for Russian creators to reclaim flattr money as it is for me
to spend it.

Were you able to get your payment from flattr?

I'm worry that nowhere soon. Flattr stops withdrawal to PayPal Russia
completely (any account, not me only).

Bitcoin may be? But I'm not sure it's easy.

Hi, I contacted Flattr. They say that they can currently pay out to creators in
Russia through Skrill and will do bank transfers in the future. You might want
to look into that.

Skrill do not accept "donations" to Russia accounts. Same as PayPal.
In fact they request charity license from me. Really?

Hi,
are you unable to register at Skrill or SkrilliT and claim your money from
Flattr? This is just getting ridiculous...

I'm registered. And claimed money from Flattr once.
But! I'd asked Skrill about donations and they answered that I must provide
charity license.
As I said, PayPal'd said exactly the same. So it's possible that Skrill will
block such transactions soon too.
That is completely weird. I'm not a charity organization. Why I must have
license for that?
I wonder if foreign (US/UK) developers have any issues with "charity licenses"?

I think, this might be the result of US&EU boycott (Putin refuses to extradite
Snowden).
Perhaps, via an Asian bank?
