Where is Companion? #1

You mention that Companion is required, but where can we download Companion? It seems to be related to the FIRE project at Northwestern but I can't figure out what to download. Can you give us the necessary link(s)?

I will have to reach out to the faculty to see if Companion is available publicly. A Cyc type ontology should definitely work in this case with minor syntactical and naming tweaks. What are the goals of your work? Maybe we can help in providing better solutions with more goal-oriented clarity.

I'm looking at options for building a diagnostic tool for a customer support scenario.

You may be able to achieve that with OpenCyc directly.

There are a number of good ways to represent the typical Symptom-Cause-Solution knowledge. I'm looking for a module that performs the reasoning on the knowledge.
