spoke with a user recently who couldn't figure out why the google earth map 
wasn't showing in his browser when using omm.
sent the user to the following site which helped us realize the incredibly slow 
rendering his computer was offering him:
http://www.planetinaction.com/speedtest/ 

might add an FAQ that outlines some potential problems with system performance 
and/or internet connection speeds...

might also add some information related to hardware/software requirements.
(video card specs for google earth, ram, os, etc)
