hello,
What is the device name? Send me log to wgt487@motorolasolutions.com
hi @genywind email with logging sent.
Hi Pascal,
After much searching I have sourced a device which I have been able to upgrade. I am able to install applications built with beta 49 and later betas successfully.
Can you look in \Windows and see if you have ipc_manager.dll there? If it is there then please delete it, warm boot your device and try again.
Failing the above I suggest clean booting the device and re-installing. Please let me know if you require instructions on doing this.
here is how to make cold reboot: Performing a Cold Boot To perform a cold boot:
@darryncampbell @genywind I don't have an ipc_manager.dll file and the problem still persists after a cold boot.
The reason I suggested a clean boot is we have a few identical devices here which don't exhibit the problem with similar applications. Would it be possible to try after a clean boot? This will completely reset the device to the factory settings so I understand why this may not be possible. You'll find instructions in the integrator guide at https://docs.symbol.com/manuals/11850302a.pdf
Closing issue due to lack of response. If this is still an issue with the latest RhoElements 4.0 release, please reopen.
When running our application with RhoMobile 4.0 B49 on WM 6.5, the application freezes right after booting.
We currently don't have a RhoElements 4.0 license yet so the application will show the product evaluation popup on boot and immediately freezes.
The RhoLog doesn't show any stracktraces so the problem appears to originate from the native code.
I cannot publicly disclose the rholog but I can send it by email if you wish. Please let me know to whom I can send the logging.
