achyutde13 commented 5 months ago

Happened to me too.. But i didn't use spoof media source. I just got the popup.

v3noom commented 5 months ago

Same

worldofrice commented 5 months ago

Happened without using any spoofing. Only "safe" features enabled in SnapEnhance.

Kayyouu commented 5 months ago

Same here, didn′t enable anything specific on the app

authorisation commented 5 months ago

SE Development is paused for now

Gaming12846 commented 5 months ago

Same for me, just got the message. Happend with the latest debug build

LunarVGaming1 commented 5 months ago

Happened just now, I thought I was crazy didnt know it was a real issue

achyutde13 commented 5 months ago

Which snapchat version did everyone got the warning on? I got it on snapchat ver 12.90.0.46 and SE latest debug build. And will the lock be temporary or permanent?

authorisation commented 5 months ago

I should clear something up though, it is not any specific feature that is detected but lots of different deeper stuff, which I'm too lazy to go into exact detail on.

This "stuff" was detected probably since the release of v12 (Don't quote me on that) and Snapchat has just not really done anything against Modding in general since today.

FYI iOS has had this happen since like a month or two ago, this was pretty predictable.

LunarVGaming1 commented 5 months ago

I completely removed all snaphacks and just reverted to original for now, I recommend you guys disable or remove the hacks until fix because I got a warning on my alt which isn't using spoof media. Seems everything is detected.

parzypeevesy commented 5 months ago

I'm still getting the "time out" warning even after uninstalling the patched app and the patch. App is literally installed from the play store, yet it says it's third party. any suggestions?

Polyfish0 commented 5 months ago

You have to delete the app data and sign in again

You have to reboot, that fixed it for me.

I am not using spoofs or anything major, i suspect it's because of Snapchat+

No? Just gotta update it. First figure out HOW snapchat knows we have mods then they'll patch that to make it safe again.

I received a warning last year when the first version of SnapEnhance was released. Despite the warning, I continued using SnapEnhance, and I have not received any ban from my Snapchat account. Therefore, I don't think the warning has any impact.

Everything is being detected as I've seen. You need to remove hacks for now, that's what I've done. I'm trying not to get banned. This is what I recommend doing rill they release and official statement and fix

w451 commented 5 months ago

Is it viable to use an older version of Snapchat without the detection in place?

authorisation commented 5 months ago

You could try v11 but I can't confirm that this is safe

Apparently 12.42 works fine

I am already using a slightly older version when this happened. I miss snapenhance already lol

Just signed into an account from a clean phone that I used this morning but logged out from. The account that I was logged into on root threw up the warning, and then I logged into the second account on a clean phone and got the detected timeout, pressed ok and it went away. Seems you'll get the warning as long as they detected the account being used on a rooted device, even if you log in from a clean one.

w451 commented 5 months ago

I updated to latest version (SE not attached, but still installed as an app), no warning. Downgraded to 12.42.0.60 via SE manager (SE not attached) and got the warning.

3gsahil commented 5 months ago

Just got this myself too 😭 is is better to wait or to revert back to of snapchat...

Paywandako commented 5 months ago

Delete both snapenhanced and the modded snapchat for now just to stay safe. Reinstall regular snapchat, clear all the app data and then reboot.

Not necessarily, my account wasn't on a rooted phone I use LSPATCH. not sure why but it could be something of the mods and older version of Snapchat.... I honestly don't know rn

Just to clear up my first post, when I say clean phone I mean a phone without root and that has never had any version of Snapenhance or LSpatch.....just logged into an account that I used this morning on my root phone. I logged out of that account and into another one on the root phone and started geting the warning. I logged into the clean phone with no root on the first account that I had logged into on my root phone (where I got no warning) and the warning came up on my clean phone. Don't know if it matters just throwing it out there for infomations sake.

RadNotRed commented 5 months ago

I haven't got this, I'm using Snapchat v12.91.0.38 Beta on my unrooted s24 ultra, using lspatch

nvm i just got it now too

aryanmcr commented 5 months ago

Gotta wait for a fix I guess, does anyone know when development is back on, or are they working on it rn

aryanmcr commented 5 months ago

Also I uninstalled snap enhance do I need to uninstall lsposed or reinstall Snapchat or anything?

Paywandako commented 5 months ago

Yeah uninstall the patched snapchat, install from google play, clear all the data and then reboot your phone, just to be safe. No need to uninstall lspatch or lsposed

RSR1337 commented 5 months ago

Just don't use archived LSPosed or LSPatch , I'm using modded LSPosed and no warning so far , using PATCHED Snapchat is not recommended at all

I'm using lsposed mod and it's detected. This doesn't make a difference.

For anyone who got this warning, did you have "Disable Metrics" turned on? I did not get a warning so far, and it could have possibly been because of this setting.

EVERYTHING is patched. I always have this off.

I think this mod just got too greedy with "features" at most this should be an app for spoofing photos and downloading snaps anon. this mod has like multiple hooks into snapchats api for all sorts of things......just keep the thing simple.

EDIT: spoofing photos AND videos from gallery. when you start getting too big, they start coming after you. snapenhance is some beatfuil coding, but maybe it needs to be scaled down from all the frills it offers to something more basic, that doesnt' draw so much attention

aryanmcr commented 5 months ago

Any fixed mod yet? (I miss snap enhance)
