Constant bans, even using only basic features #1157

Description

Accounts getting permalocked within 48 hours w/ fairly light use. Happens randomly, seems to be triggered when I send a pic from gallery OR sometimes when I add a friend. Immediate lock. I have no SnapEnhance options enabled that say "may cause bans". The only 'risky' one is native hooks enabled to send photos from gallery. (Even after disabling it, I could still send photos from gallery.) But the bans continue to happen.

I have been using a later version of Snapchat (12.88.0.34) because I can't create on 12.81.0.44 or many of the versions slightly newer. Constant SS10 error on account creation until I install a newer APK. But SnapEnhance is still working, just can't figure out the cause of the bans. Pretty sure they're related to SnapEnhance being detected as third-party software.

  2. Click on ....
  3. Scroll down to ....
  4. See error.

Are you making new accounts after older ones get permalocked? Or you can somehow unlock your accounts?

Nope. Permanent locks are permanent.

Yes, I am creating new accounts. But since I imagine the device ID is banned (and Pixel is encrypted so can't easily change devID), I factory reset, re-root, etc. So no aspect of the new account is linked to the old.

Nope. I have NEVER seen that message. Not once. It simply logs me out of the account and when I try to log in, it says that I violated ToS. It's a more non-specific ban.

It sometimes happens when I send a photo from gallery but not always, as I stated.

I don't understand the rush to label this as a duplicate when nothing I said in the original post is consistent with what you linked.

There is no warning or definitive action that triggers it. It's a random, instant permaban. If it's due to SE being detected, then how is that not related to SE? @authorisation

Sorry for my late reply on this one. I don't have a screenshot, but it just says "Your account has been locked for violating Terms of Service" then links me to the guidelines. When I go on the web and try to unlock, it confirms a permanent lock.

Still don't understand how it can possibly be unrelated to SE. I haven't done anything crazy on any of the accounts. Newly factory reset device, rooted, Magisk, Zygisk, LSposed, SE.
