Keybindings not working inside Carplay #61

Hi, thank you for this awesome project. I can't however get the key bindings working. When I open the key binding settings I can set the keys but as soon as I open te CarPlay screen the keys from the key board aren't doing anything. I am able to click buttons with the mouse, but when I'm pressing left and right keys or space, nothing happens. I'm running react-carplay on a Rasperry 5 and thought it might had something to do with Waylands so I disabled that. It didnt do the trick.

I'm running Linux raspberrypi 6.1.0-rpi7-rpi-2712 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.1.63-1+rpt1 (2023-11-24) aarch64 GNU/Linux and my iPhone is on iOS 17.3.

Any suggestions?

I am having the same issue exactly. Running raspberry pi 5 bookworm 64.

Hi, I've got the same problem as you. How did you resolve it? Beta version v4.0.3 doesn't connect, just loading screen.

Raspberry pi 4 bookworm 64
