Not sure what you are trying to do here... Looks like you have got yourself into a right pickle!

Just as a heads-up, the fact that you've named your branch HEAD looks like it might be a mistake as HEAD is usually a label which points to the latest commit on the checked-out branch...

Yeah wish I could say I knew what I was doing… but that wouldn’t be true. Not really sure what I did to end up with a HEAD branch,, but was trying to merge that with my remote BUT clearly got that wrong. Anyway, sort of learning by making some mistakes :)
