Failing installation (due to Apple Silicon?) #8

Trying to install on a mac with M1 ship I get the following error at the sudo python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt --upgrade step

Considering that the readme file literally says "(If you are on Mac or Windows, go to hell.)" it's not surprising... :-)

Kidding aside, I'm also on Apple Silicon and got this to run by changing requirements.txt to simply be:

numpy
matplotlib
scipy

i.e. remove the version numbers that currently appear.

I was then able to run pip3 install -r requirements.txt (which I'd recommend over running sudo ..., but YMMV). Cheers

And also -- thank you to the author! The code does work brilliantly (even on a Mac!) :-)

I got around the same error and this fixed it
