Improve avalanche article #10

In converting the archived Alpine Journal PDF to jpg files for turn.js implementation, I noticed a couple of typos and minor issues that could be improved some day. These are low priority, as the article reads and looks fine as it is...

Here the word "of" is missing:

@veirs Does a non-PDF version exist, (i.e. .doc or docx or Google Doc that would be easy to edit)?

This note at the end of the PDF suggests one might exist...

Val OCR’d and, with Stormy Burns, lightly edited and pdf’d the Colorado College print version of Ric Bradley’s report.
