progle classifies the syntax as "Perl-like" and the type system as "weak": image

I don't know much about Ruby... Who's right?

I don't agree that it's weakly-typed, and neither does Wikipedia.

As for Syntax, it's somewhere in the middle of Perl and Python, so fair enough.
