Really nice add-on! For a first test it might be possible for a preview to use the CLI from Chordpro that has an experimental HTML output that could be displayed in a browser control in VSC. Unfortunately I'm not so good at web technologies to build it myself!

That's a great idea, I'll investigate that possibility asap. Unfortunately right now I don't have any spare time to look into this, I hope that before this Christmas I have a chance to continue/finish the extension. Thanks for the idea!
